I know this Bus (Laura)

Hi Laura I know this Bus I worked for the drill crew (OMG) the stories that are coming back to me while I write this story. Richard Our Party Manager purchased this Bus for us to travel to the LZ with. I was working for Skyline The day the Bell 204 went down I was pushing back of the line that day I was carrying a radio that day I heard the whole thing go down it scared the hell out of me. Uncle Vinnie (the Pilot/VP of Skyline Exploration) that's what we called him was screaming Bell 204 has gone down send A fire extinguisher our Big bird pilot called back and asked him do you have a fire no he replied just sent one. That was a sad day and one person paid with his life for no reason.
you see earlier that morning the mechanic for the Bell 204 had told Vinnie that there was a vibration in the 45 degree gear box on the tail rotor and not to fly the bird so the decided to use Our Big bird The 57 sykorski well Vinne had to wait until the drill crew was out and working before the jug crew wood be transported well he became impatient and told the crew to load up. They left the LZ made one stop and let 2 people off the flew out to Mollies nipple they switched out the repeater batteries lifted of was about 100 feet off the ground and the tail rotor popped. they hit the ground and rolled down the mountain. Then all hell broke loose on the radio our big bird pilot dropped everything and was out there quickly our powder man helped with the injured and flew to Prove with the injured. Mean while we the drill crew was on the mountain with no bird to transport us off the mountain. KSL news arrived with there helicopter. Our party manager (Richard) asked them if they would help get the drill crew off the mountain the refused said they could not transport us. Richard told them Ok fine remove your helicopter from our LZ and get the f---- Out of here. There was 2 other seismic companies in the area they shut down there operations and used there helicopters to get us off the mountain that. What a day that moment in time comes back to me alot.Those were some awesome times I miss the the helicopter rides that our little bird pilot gave us and just flying out in the mountains I will post some stories of the bus soon RIP Grump and Moody you were good friends
