I am currently looking to advance my knowledge as a permit agent. I am looking for a company willing to train a hardworking, loyal employee. I have 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry. I was working for a company who oversaw oil and gas explorations all over the U.S., monitoring structures, pipelines, etc. The last couple of years we started permitting surface land entries, but using a more door to door method. Our turner over rate was 5-10 signed permits per day. What I would really like to do is learn more detailed permit agent work, dealing with land deeds, research etc. I am willing to learn for a company who is willing to use me long term, for the training they provide. I speak, read, and write Spanish fluently. I know this a great asset for many companies out there. I am available 24/7 and am willing to relocate anywhere if pay is good. I am currently updating my resume as I have not had to look for a job in a while, but I will have available upon request. Thank you in advance for the opportunity and hope to hear from you soon.  God Bless

Title: Senior Pre-Sales Technical Advisor

Location: US – Texas Houston

Job Status: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Interview Date: ASAP

Open To: US Citizens, US Work Permit Holder

Job Overview: An established independent software company focused on providing integration solutions for upstream applications and data seeks a Pre-Sales Technical Advisor to support their growing business in North and South America.

The Company founded in 2000 has developed a framework that gives applications and data stores the flexibility and power to create, read, update and delete data from diverse projects, anywhere within a client's network. Clients have experienced improved productivity, improved decision-making and lower costs by using this framework to integrate their upstream applications and data stores.  With no comparable competitive product on the market, this framework remains the data integration standard in the upstream market segment.

The Company partners with the leading E&P solution providers in the world, and 30+ software vendors have licensed their framework Developer Kit to provide integration of 40+ applications and 12 databases. With clients recording workflow efficiency improvements as high as 99% when importing seismic, interpretation and well data, the adoption of these solutions by major oil company clients has dramatically increased globally.

This increase in demand has necessitated the Company now establishing further offices and strengthening its technical team in the key areas of technical support, consultancy, and training. This position will support the expansion in their US client base. It is a highly focused client-facing role, where your primary responsibility will be to assist in the sales and marketing of the Company, its products, and services to regional clients.  You will support the company’s Technical Advisors in promoting the data framework to clients at senior levels. You will raise awareness of the technical and commercial value of this solution whilst being able to discuss and agree upon the technical implementation of the solution across their enterprise.  In some cases you will provide consulting services to determine the best solution incorporating the Company’s products and, in some cases, assist in providing and presenting to the client proposals for development services.

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be expected to:
· Support the Technical Advisors in his role.
· Provide technical expertise to the sales team to successfully win and close business.
· Assist in the use, evaluation and demonstration of Company products across G&G and IT groups at client sites.
· Deliver professional technical presentations at client sites, professional society meetings, and Trade Shows.
· Provide client training courses, as required.
· Be proactive in understanding client challenges and issues. Make recommendations and assist in the implementation of technical solutions and workflows.
· Raise the awareness and usage of these framework tools through active interaction at client sites.
· Become recognized within the Company and industry as a technical expert, including publication in industry journals
· Write or contribute to ‘White Papers’ that point out the value of these products to the G&G, Database Management, and GIS communities in Upstream Oil & Gas.
· Organize on-site meetings and “Lunch and Learns” to convey latest product information and workflows.
· Keep abreast of current and future developments and trends in this market. Liaise with Software Development team, making supported recommendations for improvements or new software capabilities.
· Assist the business development process by providing technical input to proposals.
· Provide technical support when required.
· Support evaluations when needed.
· Make customer demonstrations to potential clients.
· Assist in Trade-show presentations/demos.
· Provide workflow consulting.
· Achieve a high level of client satisfaction.
· Other duties as assigned.

The Company recognize that you will require training in their solutions and approximately 3-6 months training will be provided in their Houston office.

This is a senior level technical position, offering a great deal of variety and autonomy for an individual with a strong understanding of G&G workflows, and related data, and an appreciation of the value that good data standards can deliver to an enterprise.

Preferences: The successful candidate will have:
· Degree in Geology or Geophysics or IT related subjects essential
· Minimum of 10 years work experience within the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production industry essential
· Minimum of 5 years technical experience in using, supporting or managing G&G applications or data environments essential.
· Strong appreciation of the value that good data standards can bring to a company.
· Good practical understanding of oil company G&G workflows essential. Geophysical knowledge and experience highly desirable.
· Strong working knowledge of G&G data environments such as OpenWorks, GeoFrame, Finder highly desirable.
· Prior Pre-sales or/and Post-sales or consultancy experience highly advantageous.
· Ability to take a leadership role in technical application evaluations.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, essential.
· Confident and self reliant – the ability to visit clients onsite, to train users, give presentations and to demonstrate technical value proposition essential
· Efficient time management, highly organized with excellent coordination skills essential
· Self motivated, adaptable and enthusiastic, and highly flexible with a proactive approach to tasks.
· Willing to travel internationally.
· Multi-Lingual a plus but not required.

Package: An attractive base salary of $100K - $110K + commission circa OTE package of $140K - $160K per year is on offer, dependent on skills and experience.

Title:      Senior Field Projects Engineers/ Geophysicists (4 Positions) – WS/632
Location:   Worldwide Field Operations (Rotational)
Job Status: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Interview Date:   ASAP
Open To:    All Nationalities

Job Overview:     A recognised leading provider of specialist services in gravity and magnetic geophysics to oil exploration companies, mining groups and government organizations worldwide seeks Senior Field Projects Engineers/Geophysicists.

The Company offers a full range of services surrounding potential field geophysics to exploration companies. These services and products range from airborne surveys, data acquisition, processing, and integrated interpretation projects, including related software.

The Company has developed pioneering airborne acquisition techniques that are yielding benefits including lease decisions, seismic location determination, prospect generation and drilling locations. Through the acquisition of gravity gradient data, the analysis of gravity and magnetic data in combination with other conventional methods provides a more complete exploration solution as interpretational uncertainties are reduced through the analysis of additional rock properties.

This methodology helps explorationists gain a complete picture and a better understanding of subsurface geology, through a multi-disciplinary and integrated approach. They can demonstrate that significant geological information can be gleaned from gravity and magnetic data in both frontier and mature exploration areas and as such the need for airborne surveys has dramatically increased.

The Company are now in need of personnel to staff additional airborne survey to meet demand. Working as part of a team, your primary responsibility will be to lead an airborne geophysical crew which will acquire and process gravity gradient data. You will rotate with other Senior Field Projects Engineers and Field Electronics Engineers.

The Company realise that you may not have all the technical skills required and are committed to providing full training in all relevant technologies, work practices and will be supported and guided in your role.

Job Responsibilities: Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

·     Undertake training in the Company’s techniques and software tools used.

·     Lead an airborne geophysical field crew consisting of geophysicists, aircraft engineers and pilots.

·     Project manage field acquisition projects as required including mobilization / demobilisation, survey planning, client liaison, and liaison with the aircraft operator.

·     Acquire airborne gravity gradient data as well as complementary data sets.

·     Where required undertake in-field quality control processing of gravity gradient, GPS, magnetometer and laser ranging data.

·     Maintain effective communications with the UK head office.

·     Contribute to the documentation of field procedures and survey reports.

·     Supervise and schedule the work of the field crew in a productive, efficient, and safe manner.

·     Establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the business, in particular liaise with peers in similar roles to gain the benefits of common practices.

·     Maintain professional awareness of the external developments in scientific instrumentation and geophysics to identify where these may be used to benefit the business.

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with some experience working with airborne, marine or land geophysical field crews, and who likes the concept of rotational work offering long periods of times off (e.g. 3 weeks off each rotation). The role offers the opportunity to use innovative technologies, working with the world’s only independent service company specializing in both Gravity Gradient Imaging and conventional gravity and magnetics. There is great scope for travel and career progression.

Candidate Requirements:       The successful candidate will have:

·     A degree essential – preferably in Geophysics, maths or engineering.

·     A minimum of 3 years geophysical industry experience essential.

·     Previous experience working on a field crew essential. Airborne field crew experience highly advantageous.

·     Previous experience in a supervisory or leading role desirable as you will lead a field crew.

·     Some experience of geophysical data acquisition, QC OR processing essential.

·     Experience or knowledge of potential field, gravity & magnetics, or gravity gradient data highly desirable.

·     Highly analytical with excellent problem solving abilities essential.

·     Some experience of survey design or survey planning highly desirable.

·     Service orientated – strive to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

·     Good report writing capabilities – attention to detail.

·     Good understanding of relative HSE issues and resolutions.

·     Team Player – must work effectively by actively contributing to the accomplishment of goals.

·     Excellent communication skills.

·     Positive attitude and problem solving approach.

·     Able to work under pressure to exacting deadlines and time scales.

·     Self-motivated, able to manage your task effectively and escalate problems that you cannot resolve.

·     Previous experience working in remote locations within various multicultural groups desirable.

·     Must be able to travel.

Package:    Dependent on skills and experience the Company are offering a Base Salary of £28K-£35K plus Field Pay and Field Allowance, resulting in an annual expected salary of £39K - £46K. In addition, a 5% Bonus scheme plus company benefits.
